Who doesn’t love RGB – I sure do, so lets add one to make the light up marque on our arcade machine. In this video we solder on th e RGB Led, arguably one of the tougher components to solder on as the pins are close together – but not to worry! Grab your soldering iron and microcade kit and follow along!
RGB Led Tip!
When placing in the RGB Led, make sure to use the diagram here to understand how to place the RGB Led correctly!
It might make it a little bit easier if you bend the green pins slightly forwards first and locate them first. Then you can use it as an anchor to locate the other pins.
